the Charge of Kutyszcze

the Charge of Kutyszcze  september 1660, Hussar lieutenant Wladyslaw Wilczkowski's banner (approx. 130 accompanied hussar) encountered the rear guard of the retreating army of Moscow - two squadrons of Russian cavalry, and Cossack Regiment - about 1700-3000 people - Wilczkowski didn't had to think twice - he charged on them, reiters rushed to escape, raming their own infrantry, hussars caught them, slashing anything that moved, and then they've turned back and charge on the Cossacks infrantry again. Seeing what is going -the other hussar banner - Lieutenant Stanislaw Wyżycki - another 143 hussar horses and lances, joined the action.  Loss for the Polish were few dead and wounded People, the side of Moscow - hundreds killed, several thousand army smashed and the morale of the rest of the Muscovite army - smashed into pieces.
